The kick-off meeting of PAPAYA (PlAtform for PrivAcY preserving data Analytics) has been organized and hosted by EURECOM, the project coordinator, on June 12 and 13, 2018.
PAPAYA, which officially started on May 1, 2018, aims at addressing the privacy concerns with respect to data analytics operations performed by untrusted third-party data processors, in the context of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
PAPAYA will design and develop an integrated platform that will combine privacy-preserving data analytics modules and a dashboard that will offer auditing and visualization features.
During one and a half days of the kick-off meeting, the partners had the opportunity to meet each other and to discuss the key actions to undertake within the first 9 months as well as the long-term activities of the project's lifecycle. Besides, the partners had the privilege to meet Nikolaos Panagiotarakis, PAPAYA's project officer, and to receive his valuable feedback on the project's objectives and workplan.
PAPAYA partners are all devoted to the success of the project and the fruitful interactions during kick-off meeting showcase this commitment.
